One of my (part time—actually wife of the boss—had a kid, now comes in whenever something needs done in a particular computer program) co-workers is a bit like this. Sure way of stretching 15-30 minutes onto your time card is to go ask her a simple question at the end of the day.

Professors can’t keep anyone in class, and any college that doesn’t have a policy that prevents professors from docking your grade (participation or otherwise) for leaving class at the scheduled time needs one.
Basically, the question is “Will leaving now cause the professor to give me a lower grade?” If the answer is no, just leave.

oh man
I remember my freshman year, there was this one English class I despised. I had one 15 minutes afterwards and luckily there was *one* other person from my program in English class too. One unfortunate day she broke her leg and had to use crutches. The professor allowed us to leave that class early so I could help her get to our class afterwards.

Talk to the professor for the second class. He/she can make a call to the first professor if he/she knows the first professor. If not, the second will report it to the dean.
No professor wants to talk to the dean over something as stupid as running long.
